Molting, new tissue is growing on my back and leg. Pieces of cultivated skin.
In my Skin Lab I zoom in on the thin surface between
myself and the outside world and decode, recreate,
stylize and plasticize the cells,structures and
drawings I find on my human suit.
Skinmaps & skin imprints show what I come across
on and under the boundary face. Anatomical imaging
of tactile sensations. Fantasies about intimate
parts, about peeling off, putting on another coat,
getting under alien shells or growing a thicker skin.
